A contemporary singer Sade Adu and her eponymous backing band reemerged earlier this year with the chart - topping release "Soldier of Love" And now Sade's first tour in ten years promises to be a big one.

Launching in early summer 2011, the venture will eventually expand to 50 dates across North America. But at the moment, only 10 concerts have been revealed, beginning with a June 16 show at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, MD.

The interesting highlights on the current itinerary include stops on June 24 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ; July 6 at TD Garden in Boston, MA; and August 5 at United Center in Chicago, IL. North of the border, only two planned performances have been announced: June 28 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON, and June 30 at Bell Centre in Montreal, QC.

Concert dates are confirmed through an August 30 concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. In the coming weeks, more show announcements have been promised for more than two dozen markets, including Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Las Vegas, NV; New Orleans, LA; Pittsburgh, PA; and Vancouver, BC.

The singer and band released "Soldier of Love" in February 2010, and the record instantly rocketed to the top of the charts. Billboard ranked "Soldier of Love" as the third best-selling album of 2010 with more than 1,200,000 units sold nationally as of the first week of July.
